Let me tell you a terrible story. You know that feeling when you’re so sure that something is right, that you don’t even bother to check if it actually is? Wow… I had a sick one of those today. Anyway, I’ve been telling everyone my finals to turn in are tuesday and wednesday. To make things weirder, they’re not at regular class times, its just whenever the schedule says. Annnnyway, My video final turn in date was today, so I went and did it, buuuut, just to be safe, I emailed my english professor to confirm our turn in date was wednesday at 11:20AM. I got an email back that said “Check your exam schedule, it was yesterday”. Of course, its one of those papers that I’ve already done, waiting to turn in tommarow, and, the prompt has no late papers written all over it. Crap. To make things worse, its not like I can just not turn it in, the class rules are that if you dont do any final copies of the papers, you fail the class, no matter how much work youve done. Annnnyway, So, I was screwed. I’ve never been sooo pissed off at myself. I even planned on working on the essay and scheduled out time on tuesday to put the finnishing touches on it, still being convinced wednesday was the day… crap! Anyway, my stupid mistake. I’ve got things worked out so I wont fail though. Thank you Nelson, even though you think you’re a really mean professor, I know that deep down inside you’re hiding a nice guy thats just in it to help students. I can see him, and I know he’s there. Thank him for me!
